I think I'm addicted to junk food (candy, chips, fast food, etc) and it's a major contribution to my weight gain. I'm working out and it helps but my lack of self control when it comes to junk food is ruining my weight loss efforts.

If you were a junk-a-holic (lol) and have cut out junk food from your diet (or consume a LOT less than you used to), how did you do it? Any tips would be appreciated.

So when I woke up this morning I got my period and was extremely crampy ( to the point where I definantly can't wear a tampon) but I hate pads with a passion it just feels so sticky, cold drippy, diaper,mess, ick! on top of that I just felt plain sick and just wanted to lay down, so i just grabbed and old face towel to put in my undies ( i'll throw it away later) and went back to sleep,

It felt way better then pads, I way just wondering where can you by real clothe pads, that can be used for the first day or so when you're really crampy, who has used them? pros & cons, do they have ones that you can throw away?

what do you use on your first day if you are really crampy? do you switch back and forth or are you a tampon only person?

I passed out about a week ago (i'm hypoglycemic and didnt eat all day...not a good combo) and i lost consciouness. when i came too, one of my contacts wasn't in my eye and we couldnt find it on the ground or anything. My mom looked in my eye and said it wasn't in there. Now i keep getting weird pains around that eye. Could that contact still be stuck up there?? yeah i know, weird...has anyone else had a similar experience??

I want to know why it is that people talk so much about Third World Countries, and all their hungry people when people in the United States are starving and homeless. You hear on TV, how much people in the Third World Countries, don't have food to eat, or shelters, or clothes on their backs, but what about the People here. How many of you at one time or another have been homeless, and know what it's like to not have anything to be able to pay your bills, have a roof over your head, or even a bathroom to just up and go to?. A place to lay down and sleep in a soft warm bed, and How many have you had to fight in the winter time to stay warm because you had no shelter? Has anyone out there had to sleep under an over pass, just to keep the wind and elements away from you, because of no place to go? How would you feel? No one likes to talk about that very thing happening here. Why is this?

My son is 4 years old. I don't have a problem getting him to brush his teeth....but he really doesn't like the taste of toothpaste. I've tried every kind out there and nothing seems to work. Sometimes I struggle with him and make him use the toothpaste...other times it's just not worth the battle. Is is really necessary for a little one to use toothpaste as long as they are brushing(well, I'm brushing)his teeth OK without it? Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get him to like the taste better?

I filed for a divorce from my husband. I went to the dr. for my yearly exam and also asked her to check for STD's, and it came back positive for genital herpes. I don't think I have ever had an outbreak but i remember when we married and since then, my husband has frequently had sore places on him he dismissed casually. How can I ever tell someone, if I ever have another relationship, that I have this?

It wasn't a really bad wreck- my car is probably totaled but I went to the ER and checked up ok. However, I feel worse today than I did yesterday- I feel exhausted and drowsy, and yet unable to sleep. And just recently I've started feeling a bit dizzy. Is this aftershock, or what? Should I go back to the ER, or will this pass?

I really like him, and he sends me hints all the time that he is gay. I want to talk to him about it tell him how I feel, and hopefully he will tell me the same thing back. He isn't shy in front of me, he doesn't mind being naked around me, and he has played with my nipples before. But then he talks about the latest girl he is trying to sleep with, and acts extremely homophobic at times. I am confused by him.

my head is spinning, i cant let go of things that happened in my past, pretty much triggering everything thats happening now. i've been hurt so many times and in many different ways and i thought i was fine and now its all resurfacing again. i constantly find myself crying, not eating, getting sick, having panic attacks. i dont know what is wrong with me, and i keep pushing everyone away becuase of things that happened in my past. i feel like such a screw up, i havent been able to do anything right for a while now. i need help, i dont know what to do. i feel as if im losing all control of my life, and i cant get it back.

My husband was popping a pimple behind his ear and he felt it pop, but instead of draining on the outside, he felt the pus draining under his skin. He now has a huge red swollen lump below his ear (about the size of a large marble). Has anyone else experienced this? Any advise would be great. Thank you.
