When I added Stack Body Tune Up, my trips to the snack machine went to no trips.
I think some people think that because it relates to food and you should be able to stop this behavior at the drop of a hat, supplements shouldn't be used.
I, however, think otherwise. Just as a cigarette smoker might use a nicotine patch to stop smoking, a junk food eater might use a supplement.
I added Stack Body Tune Up to my current diet and with 2 days, I noticed that I didn't make trips to the snack machine. It removed the cravings. Now when I approach my target weight, I will have new habits and a smaller stomach created.
I have lost 33.5 pounds since July 15, 2006 by adding Stack Body Tune Up to my diet.
If I may be of further assistance, let me know.

I was the same way, and still am. This is what I'm doing (and it seems to be working well.) 1) Most most important drink LOTS of water. This will be a difficult adjustment for the first day or two. I hate water, I like more taste than that. But anyway, once you get through the first couple of days it gets easier. The water hydrates you are will make you less hungry. Then you don't want to snack as often. 2) Use fruit juice as an alternate drink. Make sure it 100% natural, and no added sugar. 3) For the sweet tooth try fresh fruit or fruit smoothies. I have found many good recipes on then internet. But stay away from the ones with ice cream or other unhealthy ingredients. OK this one is just my personal tip, and what I do. It may not be recommended by a personal trainer or nutritionist, but it works for me. 4) DON'T completely deprive yourself of what you like. The more you go without the more you crave it. Then when you eventually give in, which is usually just a matter of time, you eat TOO much. Maybe instead allow your self a small reward (maybe one chocolate bar or 1 soda) after a week of eating really well. But try to be careful the rest of the week. Don't give in whenever you have a craving. Try to find healthy alternatives. For me, it took me a week without soda, and lots of water to start to feel better. I noticed that the caffeine is a hoax. I feel the same now drinks water in the morning, and thoughout the day, than when I was drinking sodas. I really don't need the caffeine. I'm also sleeping better, which could be the reason I'm feeling better.

I feel your pain! Here are some things that have helped me: First, don't try to quit cold turkey! If you have a sweet tooth that won't quit, it's better to allow yourself to have 1 piece of candy or 1 cookie to get rid of the craving. One piece won't ruin your diet, but if you break down later and eat the whole bag it will. Also, you can try drinking lots of water to help you stay full. If you're not hungry, it's easier to resist temptation. And, if you don't really like plain water, putting a slice of orange or lemon in makes it taste great. One last thing: keep lots of healthy snacks around so you have plenty of guilt-free options. If you want sweet, have some fruit. If you want salty, try pretzels or baked chips. You'll be surprised how much easier this will get once you get into the habit.
These things helped me a LOT. Good luck!

First of all, I too am guilt of junk food. I try to stay away from salt because of my high blood pressure. You have to disclipine yourself. Try to cut down on your junk food. You can have junk food every now and then, just watch what you eat and how much you eat as well. If you are still not sure, then find a a person who does this for a living.

I went from a junk food addict to a super healthy body builder, so I think i've got some qualification to comment here.
It sounds really strange, but first the big change happened when I began eating cereal bars. I made myself eat one instead of something crappy like a double chocolate chip muffin, and I carried round one or two in my bag to eat instead of a bag of chips.
Having fresh fruit around always helps because you'll consider eating it instead of something else when you walk past it. When you first begin eating fruit again it doesnt taste as nice, but once you've got all the processed crap out of your body, it starts to taste better and better.
The main thing is to keep motivated by remembering what your goals are and why you're doing this. Good luck!

Try to reduce rather than eliminate. Create a plan where you reduce your intake by 10-25% each week. Also, the easiest way to avoid eating it is to not have any in your home. Avoid buying junk at the store by shopping after you eat a meal. That way you'll be less hungry and more able to think with your brain instead of your stomach.

I tried to keep junk food out of my sight... I stayed away from it in grocery aisles and didn't store any at home. To get rid of the cravings, I made sure I ate plenty of fruit each day (around 2-3 servings). I noticed that eating fruit got rid of the junk food cravings, and likewise help me stay full for longer periods of time.

I was in the same lot. I was addicted to junk food. It is very hard giving up sweets, but you just have to give them up. I ate more protein and had a protein bar. The protein bar has some sugar, but not as much as a candy bar, so you would still be satisfying your sweet tooth and at the same time getting healthy and losing weight. Good luck.

Find a snack that is a little healthier that you enjoy and try to eat that.
Pregnancy helped mine a lot, but while I was pregnant I focused on healthy things to snack on like carrots or celery and peanut butter. Don't buy it, avoid the isles that sell it, and find that special snack food that will help you a little more to distract from the sweetness.
