i was in the same positon as you....your body is just in shock, you might also have a little whiplash....getting in an accident is really jarring and does a number on your body....if the dr's have done x rays and such and say nothing is wrong, i would say your okay, your body will just be sore from the accident. i would wait a fe wmore days, if it gets worse go back! good luck, feel better

I've totalled 3 cars in my lifetime and can tell you that usually day 2 after the accident is when the soreness seems to be at its peak. The symptoms you are experiencing could be a result of the adrenalin finally wearing off...usually the exhausted and drowsiness for me would set in several hours after the accident and the pain two days later. Also, with my second one, a pulled muscle didn't present until I got back into the gym. Regardless, either go back to the ER or go to your regular physician. Did you hit your head at all? If so, were you checked for a concusion your first trip to the ER?

It might be a slow haemorrhage in the brain. Or a concussion caused by a knock to the head. The symptoms may not appear till later.
"Days or weeks after the original concussion, certain symptoms may reoccur. These symptoms are called post-concussion syndrome. They include:
Headache
Loss of ability to concentrate and pay attention
Anxiety
Depression
Sleep disturbance
Inability to tolerate light and noise."
Go back to the ER and tell them everything about how you're feeling.

If it persists you should go to the hospital. Sometimes people feel this because of aftershock and other times problems aren't seen until a few days later once they start releasing the stress.

It could be post traumatic shock syndrome. It's
best to call your doctor. Since you've been to The emergency room, I would not go back there again. A lot of doctors don't know what the hell they are doing. My wife and I have been there twice in the last two years, and both times, they mis-read the x-rays. Call your personal physician and maybe you'll save an office visit.

It is common for soft tissue injuries not to show up until 24 hrs later. Emergency Rooms are to check for life-threatening injuries and to make sure that people are stabilized. In absence of broken bones or life-threatening injuries, they will tell you to see your Dr. if you are still hurting after a couple of days. Go to your Dr.... Tell him/her about the dizziness and get checked over...probably a soft tissue injury and/or concussion....may require treatment and physical therapy...

I would go back to the doctor, in that sort of a situation you want to document every incident so if there is long term damage it is covered by your insurance. Also those symptoms may be the result of a serious underlying condition.
