I copied this from someone who provided me with this suggestion but I don't really get it:

"Hold 2 dumbbells in each hand just relaxed.. now hold them together @ front side of UR body (just in front of front thigh)now lift them both together, rotating UR wrists facing the fingers downwards...( try 2 avoid over bend of elbow) Dumbells R lifted till they R parallel 2 UR shoulders... hold it 4 1-2 secs n then back to relaxed position... This give U the whole Deltoid n partial shoulder work out..."

so will this work out the rounded part of the shoulders as well as the top part of my upper arm just below the slope of the shoulders?

I can't describle the smell...its disgusting...like something old and rotten. The i just went to the dentist about a week ago and everything was fine with my teeth but i am so scared as to what is going on..has anyone had this problem before? She has had pain in her gums for the last few months, and some doctors thought it was an infection and gave her antibiotics. she was a little better, but nothing really changed and then 3 days ago, her pain intensified so badly that she went straight to the dentists crying, and they pulled out a teeth. and she was OK for the rest of that day, but then again, yesterday morning, the pain was back and she again went to the doctors and they thought it was probably a nerve problem within her gums, that night, she went to the hospital for an MRI, and they didnt give her one, but instead gave an inflamitory injection to her jaw, and it helped a little. she then found a new doctor, because the other ones were all going to their weekends, and he again gave her antibiotics because he says that he cant send her in for an MRI because it costs 2500 dollars and we dont have insurance. Does anyone here know what the problem is? has anyone had it before?

Hi! At the end of the day after 8 straight hours working and moving about I feel so much pain on both areas around my uppermost end of the limbs the curve where connects the joints to my inner thigh and find it very difficult walking. While at work, the pain´s not the same, its only when I get back home after lifting myself out the car seat do I the acute pain begins. If this is due to extreme exhaustion at work why do I only feel this pain after working? Would this pain be due to exhaustion? I´m 53. This happens everyday after work. Is it because due to age that I have lost the flexibility of tendons around this area?..the discomfort /pain runs down my legs up to my feet. At work I walk and constantly move about and don´t have time to sit during all the 8 hours except for a 10 minute break for lunch. Is there anything I can do to avoid this pain?

Hi i am 28 yr old male...I have staph infection in my scalp for about 5 yrs now. first it spread all over my scalp and now to my beard..I havent fallen sick in a major way (from some of the news reports that I read and i dont know how I got it) but I am very tired of having this infection around. There are just so many sores on my head and they are painful all the time. I cant work properly and cant study either, because Im in pain. Plus Im worried I will spread this to other people (you can only wash your hands so many times). I have gone to 6 dermatologists, 5 of them put me on tetracycline, but everytime I was done with my oral course, the infection would come back with a vengeance. The 6th doc put me on muciprocin, omicef and clindamycin, which helped for a month (it was the happiest month of my life), and these sores are back again....Im very depressed. I heard there is a new antibiotic called cubicin...is that any good? Please help. Thanks

Well, i read that its ok if your foreskin doesn't go back when you are erect. But when i pull back my foreskin while flacid, it cant go al the way back. The foreskin seems to be somehow stuck to the head. Like its almost fused together. on the other side it can go back, but not on the left. Im really embarassed to tell my parents, is it something that needs help?

I currently have the Pulmo-Aide and find it noisy and slow. But trying to compare others models is making me dizzy. Please help me pick the best one. Cost and size are not the main criteria; efficiency and lack of noise are. Thank you.

and I have questions about his cholesterol readings. His total cholesterol was 193, which is good. The triglycerides were 243, and the VLDL was 49. Both of those were high. . However his hdl was 54 (good) and his ldl is 90 (good).... How can his total cholesterol be lower than the triglycerides? I looked on the AMA website and couldn't find what I am looking for.

I don’t know about you, but when I hear the word “Doctor”, I feel comfort and trust within me. Having many doctors and nurses in my immediate and extended family has taught me this trust. For years and years, I have had this innate trust in me. It was shattered yesterday……when the doctor I’ve been going to for more than two years, tried to take advantage of me. At the moment, my first instinct was to just run away and protect myself, but now that I look back, I wonder what else I could have done back then, and what I can do now.

Being in a country that doesn’t attribute too much importance to women’s rights, I know within my heart that there isn’t much I can do. Even if I try to seek justice, I might never get it. If I do, it shall come at TOO big a cost. The cost being- “spoiling my family’s name” in “society” and as a result being ostracized and excluded from the “good, respected” people. Furthermore, there’s the fear of being alienated within my own family. So what must I do?? Fo

A friend of a friend has a bi polar disorder and should a person try to force "reality" on them to bring them back or should you play along with them? She came off medication and the family doesn't want to put her back on because a new Dr. said she doesn't need it but she is dilusional and really bad! Any advice is welcome.

This area bleeds slightly after flossing, and itches like crazy... especially after I eat. But I am confused why because I floss and brush regularly and it never used to bleed before, only after my braces got tightened. Is this only a result of my teeth shifting? How can I make the itch go away?

Squats are for toned thighs and butts. But I don't do them with weights. What I do is position myself in a squat position which is feet shoulder-width apart, pointing forward. then I hold on to something in front of me usually a pole. and I lower myself until I am in a sitting position and then go back up until my legs are straightened and repeat till my thighs ache. I do so for 10 minutes. Once every week.

Is it ok to do them without weights? as I need to hold on to something to steady myself when I'm doing squats or I'll fall forwards because I can't lower myself to a sitting position. Plus I feel my thighs aching which means it's working. BTW it's mostly the front part of my thighs facing outwards that are aching, is it normal.

By 'object' I mean they get offended and makes demands for euphemisms.

Dictionary definitions concur that people with excess body fat are indeed 'fat'. So what's the beef? Can we no longer call a spade a spade? - The word 'fat' is not perjorative but the condition in excess is demonstrably negative from a health point of view and austhetically displeasing to the majority of people. Are some fat folk trying to impose a form of denial on the rest of us and reinforce their own delusions?

Web Definitions: having much flesh (especially fat); having a relatively large diameter; adipose tissue; excess bodily weight; a chubby body.
