is it normal for an forarm to get puffy and blue after an emergency I.V. is taking off, and also, is it normal for the arm to be in extremee pain for 3 weeks after the I.V. was put into arm. What is there to do about that?

some of them are like white heads and some are just normal spots and some parts are itchy could this be related to hiv or aids in any way and she is a virgin and dosent do needles and she wasn't born eith it..i checked her records

My right pinky finger has been asleep for days now. The only possible thing that I can think of that could've caused it was that I may have slept on it. That's what a nurse told me. But why would it still be numb after four days? Has something like this ever happened to you before? Do you think it's something else, like a symptom of anemia? I'm not too concerned yet, but I'm curious to hear comments.

this noise sounds like a seashell noise and its so loud i have to turn the tv up louder to hear it and my wife says its way to loud.its not wax or bloodpressure althou i have taken bloodpressure meds for 20 years.Im in my 40s.thanks

i am going to see a surgeon soon, and im guessing their going to draw blood out. i am VERY VERY VERY scared of shots. ever since i was little. im not sure what to do and if im even willing to take the shot. what should i do to calm my fears? even walking into a hospital gets me all nervous and makes my palms all sweaty. i think i have a phobia of shots.

My friend is 61 & VERY sick. She was diagnosed with BP after being seen 2x by md. She has never had any symptoms of mania or depression She is depressed now due to many health problems in last 6mo., but is only getting treatment for BP. She REALLY needs help & we don't know where to turn. She is on Lithium, which I worry about her taking since she is NOT bipolar. She can't concentrate on anything. How can I help her??

It's probably normal and it's happened a few times and when it started.. a few mins later there was a strike of lightning and scared me then it disapeared. It's like your looking around but you see rings moving away from you in a straight line like a tunnel. So what is that anyway?
