Could be medicine that you are taking. Or may food stuck between your teeth for days starts getting out when you chew the gum, and of course it is not going to smell or taste good!!

Could be any number of things - a bad tooth, infection, fungus. My mother had a fungal infection in her mouth once. Had to use a physician-prescribed mouth rinse. Went away in about 10 days. She was diabetic and I guess diabetic get this. You should get to a doctor and/or oral surgeon. This is not right. Good luck.

An abscess would be my guess. It's gross to think of it, but that's probably puss you're tasting! Get it taken care of pronto; it's going to give your digestion fits, and your mouth will only get worse.
