which is better? I just got prescribed estrostep but haven't started yet. My sis is about to start the other.

I’m 14 years old and I live in Scotland and I’m pretty sure I need fillings. I was eating some sweeties the other day and a tooth hurt and when I looked in the mirror there is two teeth with brownish holes in them. They’re not that big but I know they probably need fillings in them, so is there any way I can get them done without my mum knowing?

I don’t want to tell my mum cos she’ll be dead angry. She always makes this huge deal about looking after our teeth and we’re not suposed to have sweets or coke or anything like that, but I have them at school and she doesn’t know. And she always makes it really clear that getting cavities is really bad and that she’ll be disapointed if we get them and my big brother and sister still don’t have any and they’re 20 and 17.

So can I just phone and make an apointment myself and go get the fillings done? Or does my mum have to sign a form or anything?

Do you think that Vitamin D can prevent Lung Cancer. I'm asking this question because my mom's friend swears just because she taking high doses of Vitamin D that she wont get cancer from Smoking all her life. Can someone tell me what they think about this?

I'm trying to lose as much pounds by August 1st. I've been eating good and excersising each day. I've been running 1.8miles each day of the week (except Sunday). Is this enough?

A family member, 56 yrs female, was diagnosed with Carcinoma left breast in 2001. Underwent mastectomy, received chemothearapy & radiothearapy. Things went pretty fine until last year in April, the cancer resurfaced as skin & bone metastasis. Again, she was administered chemothearapy & radiothearapy. Still, her life went on pretty much alright, without much pain. However, in February this year, she was yet again diagnosed with Inflammatory breast Carcinoma, which turned our world upside down. Doctors disapproved surgery, the pain mounted gradually, ever morphine failed to provide much relief. Now, last month, her brain CT scan showed the involvement of Brain metastais. She has now lost most of her consiousness; does not speak anything at all, is catherised & is fed through Ryle's tube. Yesterday, she got the last shot of radiotherapy. At times, she makes painful groans, her respiratory rate in very slow. She holds her breath for a minute or so, before inhalation. WHAT BEST CAN BE DONE?

I am starting a round of cephalexin, and was planning on attending a suspension event this saturday (body suspension with fishooks.), and was wondering if there were any possible negative reactions that could be caused by my suspending while on the antibiotics (if my body is having no other negative side effects to the medication).
