i have been teaching myself how to cook chinese food. so far i can make a mean egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, gen tso's ckn (but i would still like more recipes- i have tried almost every one i could find on the internet.) and i have been trying to make the little rice balls out of the short grain sushi rice. i cant get that down yet either. any hints?

I have been trying to eat salads for lunch lately. i have heard spinach has much more nutritional value than does lettuce. Is this true? It doesnt matter too much seeing as how i prefer spinach over lettuce anyways. i have been making my own dressing out of olive oil, vinegar, and basil pesto sauce. I am the type of person who HATES salt, so i'm sure i dont have high levels of sodium in my dressing.


what can i add to my salad to make it different?

My sister baked cupcakes for her friend's birthday, and then realised that the eggs were expired for quite some time.
I told her to check the remaining eggs by dropping them in cold water to see if they are still okay, but either way.. would it be bad to eat expired eggs if they are fully cooked? What is the worst that could happen, really? Would it just taste funny? Because I imagine no dangerous bacteria could live in it if it's cooked.

Everyday at lunch when my friend gets a box of raisins I sneak a few and name them. One that I was very fond of (Taho) I "married" and printed up a marriage certificate on the internet. I always name my raisins and I love them. Is that wrong?

I plan to make 10 sandwiches (cut into wedges) to serve 50, but I need ideas for toppings. No ham or bacon because some do not eat pork. They should be somewhat fancy, but not too fancy. I'd like to make one veggie, one turkey, and one roast beef. Any ideas?

I have two eye of round steaks and they're about an inch thick, maybe a little more. I'm planning to marinate them in a teriaki sauce while I cook them...what is the best temperature and time amount to cook a steak so it will be really tender? How often do you flip them? HELP!

My anniversary is on 12th Feb (so really - a valentines event) - I want to make a really nice meal for my husband. Unfortunately, he has to work that night, so I have to make something that will be easy to prepare and make with the kids around and that everyone will be happy to eat yet make him feel special.
