butter, cream, parmasean and a little nutmeg....
This is the closest I've seen to the original recipe.
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 ounces Parmesan cheese , grated (about 3/4 cup)
dash nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste
Simmer 1 1/2 cup cream and butter until reduced (10 minutes).
Add the salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Pour over the Al Dente noodles... add cheese and mix until incorporated.
Also, allrecipes.com has a bunch of alfredo sauce recipes where people have rated. You should have large selection to choose from.

Season with salt and pepper. Now upload the undercooked pasta into the pot and return to a boil. This finishes the pasta and the sauce would be slightly skinny. as quickly as the pasta is finished to perfection and the sauce remains boiling, turn off the warmth and upload between the egg yolks and promptly stir it in, then the different. this could thicken your sauce. no count if it extremely is only too thick, upload basically slightly greater inventory. Now upload the cheese and toss properly. Serve to heat bowls at contemporary.

use equal parts butter and flour melted and add 1/2 & 1/2 or heavy cream to make a white sauce. Add garlic, white wine and parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste. To tweak it for something a little different, add some cream cheese.
