i have been teaching myself how to cook chinese food. so far i can make a mean egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, gen tso's ckn (but i would still like more recipes- i have tried almost every one i could find on the internet.) and i have been trying to make the little rice balls out of the short grain sushi rice. i cant get that down yet either. any hints?

good gen tso's i made it myself


1/2 cup grated ginger
2 freesh garlic cloves
2 tsp white pepper
1 cup rice wine or saki
1 cup soy sauce (aloha brand if possible)
1 cup rice vinegar
dehydrated chili peppers


make whatever batter you like, this is my sauce recipe. im sure you know how to thicken it with cornstarch as well.
