My mom's making snickerdoodle cookies right now and it calls for cream of tarter. We are out, can we use something else or just omit it? Will the cookies not work without it? Must we run to the store?

I just put together a big beautiful pan of lasagna and popped it in the oven ...When I went to read the box to see how long to bake it..I realized that I got regular noodles instead of oven ready!!!...Aaaaaaah...Its my husbands birthday dinner...Is it ruined??...Or will it still turn out?

I went to a restaurant and had "Old Fashioned Garlic Steak"...this was the best steak Ive ever had....it looked like sliced steak with tiny bits of garlic on the top...but the taste was amazing,.....anyone ever have it...or make it for that matter.....Im looking for the recipe! Thanks!
