Why is tuna the only fish you find all ground up? Like in a tuna sandwich. I dont see halibut or cod sandwiche

You can get canned salmon.

Wow...great question!

I don't know. Maybe other fishes are harder to put through the freshness process. Also, tuna and salmon are strong tasting fish...cod and halibut aren't so they require more additives I think. Good question tho!!

Salmon and mackerel are both sold canned.
I often flake leftover fish of any sort to use for fish salad.
