Last time I made meatloaf, I didn't really have a recipe. I had 3 recipes and used pieces of all three to make an okay meatloaf. It tasted fine--not great but okay. However, that was 3 months ago. Did I write it down? Of course not!

Now I'm trying again. We have 2 pounds of ground beef, a fully stocked (hopefully) kitchen, and I'm ready to make the best meatload out there.

We're talking I want to rivel my husband's grandmother's recipe. I'm THAT serious about making a good meatloaf.

Anyone have a GREAT meatloaf recipe?

My wife is becoming a Canadian Citizen close to Christmas. My folks thought it would be good for her to have a True 1867 (The year of confederation) Christmas dinner. The problem is we do not know just what that includes. Thanks for your help

I have a real nice ginger bread house and I would love to keep it forever to use as a Christmas decoration. I know there is like some kind of spray or something to put on it so it can keep. Does anyone know what exactly it is called, and or what I need to do?

What's the best way to cut two pineapple bowls out of a pineapple while getting as much of the fruit intact? Links to step by step instruction or just some key pointers would be great. Especially helpful would be ways to best do this without a curved serrated (grapefruit) knife. Thanks!

My 9 1/2 year old son, & I plan on making homemade cookies for the holidays as gifts, but we need soft & chewy cookies, not hard crunchy.

Plus, my sons homeschooled, & Im useing this as a homeschool project, math= for the measuring, & scopping the right spoonfull.
gym=for the stirring he has to do. (he has skinny little arms), & science for the product you get out of all those ingredients (like a science experiment)

I don't want my cakes to be tough so stir in the flour just long enough to moisten. My cakes are good, but I still would like to know the rule of thumb for beating.
Thanks in advance and have a great day!

The ones I remember have a white creamy filling , tasting like rum...rolled into balls dipped in milk chocolate.
The recipes I have seen online have vanilla wafers in them.... that doesn't sound right. But I may be wrong.
Thank you

Pros / cons? I am fascinated by the idea of cooking on a flexible surface. I saw a whole set for less than $20.00 , or a single baking sheet for the same. Advice / Experience? sz

I halved the banana bread recipe and I'm using two smaller pans instead of a large one. Do I need to change the baking time?

Every recipe says up to 12 hours. Can I leave it in longer than this? Will it get more tender but will the liquid dry up?
