I received 4 heads of Belgian endive in my organic order a couple days ago. I have no clue what to do with them. I've looked through cookbooks, online, and I'm just still drawing a blank.

Any ideas?

Ok, it's -34C (close to -40F) outside today so the 5 block walk to the grocery store isn't going to happen. I have turkey sausages, linguine, bacon, rice, cream of muchroom soup, canned muchrooms, an onion, tuna, milk,. No totmates or tomato sauce and no other veggies & no eggs. Does anyone have any idea of a nice meal or casserole I can make from any of the above?? Thanks in advance!

.... that offers *easy* to make ideas for meals. Bear in mind I am a complete amateur when it comes to cooking - it will need to be straight forward and step by step! I want to impress the girlfriend with a few dishes but don't know where to start!
