I have a recipe for an energy supplement drink. Can't seem to get an answer about how to proceed now. Do I "trademark" the "recipe/idea?" Do I "patent" the "recipe/idea?" Do I need a lawyer to be able to protect the "recipe/idea?" Anyone have any answers about exactly what needs to be done now? I do know that we need a Co-Packer and I am trying to gather a list of those...even that is not terribly easy. They say you cannot find Co-Packers listed anywhere on the internet. They also say you must only use a Co-Packer who makes the same type of product on their lines that you are making, for obvious reasons. An unrelated lawyer where I work told me today that getting a lawyer would be overkill and ridiculous...he told me that he thinks just protecting the recipe and the name should be good enough, but didn't say how. Would not take the time to give me any additional info. Anyone know? Thanks so much!

Line roasting pan w/foil both ways with enough foil to fold over bird. Put bird in pan, lay bacon on breasts & legs. Fold over foil, make vent holes in corners. Bake @ 450 degrees, last 30 minutes of cooking time, fold back foil to brown removing bacon. Weight & cooking times: 8-10 lbs for 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hrs; 10-12 lbs for 2 3/4 to 3 hrs; 14-16lbs for 3 to 3 1/4 hrs; 18-20 lbs for 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 hrs; 22-24 lbs for 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 hrs. Let turkey rest for 30 minutes with a foil tent on top before cutting. This is the most tender moist turkey cooked in the least amount of time or effort. I have been cooking my turkeys this way since 1971 & it never fails to come out perfect everytime. Enjoy!

We used to have an import store where I live that used to carry this awesome tamarind candy. They have since closed and I can't get the stuff here anymore. I can get raw tamarind pulp and I want to try to make this candy myself. I can find it online to buy but no recipe. Here is a link with a picture of what it looks like in case someone wants to know which kind of tamarind candy I am speaking of.

I know it is basically three ingredients, but I am sure there is more to it then that.

I have been making pumpkin rolls and they seem to be chewy rather than moist and soft. I have not found any different recipes to try, but there are different methods of preparation.

My recipe is: 2/3 cup pumpkin puree, 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice. Mix well and then add 3/4 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and pumpkin pie spices. Bake at 350 for 15 mins, cooked on wax paper in a jelly roll pan.

Are there any ingredients I should add or change the quantity of to make this not be chewy and to make it more moist and soft?

Thanks!
