I need some ideas for making treats to take to my son's school for his birthday. I want to do something more original than cupcakes. He's going to be 8 and he likes Sponge Bob and Harry Potter. They don't have to be incorporated into the treats but if that helps at all....any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

not the standard sopapilla. Firstly it was one piece puffed up pastry soft ,golden brown served with butter and honey. it was a desert commonly served by El Palacio restaurant in Midfield Al. which is now out of business. No one seems to know what it really was. Not on the internet--would kill for the recipe-Shagnasty

Due to my weight, I am looking for recipes or web sites that specialize in high calorie foods. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I would need recipes that are easy to prepare since I am a mommy of two little ones. Also Please do not suggest that I go out to McDonalds, or eat bad foods...as we eat an all natural diet.

Please serious replies only.

I'm looking for a homemade and TESTED by the answer-er a recipe for chocolate chip cookies - not one that you google, and cut and paste, just to get some points.

I'm looking for soft and chewy cookies, that stay thick after being cooked, that don't collapse.

Thanks!

I don't want the frosting to be flat like most homemade cupcakes. I want to make it look something like this (like it's been bought at a store): How do I get this effect because it looks so complicated.

I have a 5 Qt Phillippe Richard pressure cooker - my first one to ever own or use. The valve pipe has threads and the pressure regulator seems to screw down on top of the valve pipe. Do I screw it all the way down? It seems like if I do, then the regulator won't have any room to rock back and forth like it's supposed to.
