My mom used to make cranberry sauce every year for Thanksgiving. She used fresh cranberries and I know there was also some orange in there as well. Not sure what else. When the sauce was ready, the berries were mostly still in solid form. And this was nothing like that cranberry jelly stuff you get in the tin cans.
My mom passed away a few years ago and I would really like to make this recipe again, since we are going to have a lot of family members at my dad's house this year. We have tried to find the recipe in the house, but no luck. This was my favorite dish she made on Thanksgiving.
