I would say no; but if you have 16 , 8 ounce glasses of water , then you would have 1 gallon of water. this is U.S. measurements... There are128 US.fluid ounces(exactly) in one gallon. And no I'm not that smart I looked it up, and you can too. type water measurement tables -live search. when there you are looking for GENERAL TABLES OF UNITS OF MEASUREMENT which is supplied by the GOV'T. In British measurements there are 160 ounces in a gallon so it would take you 20 glasses... I would suggest that you take the time, to print off the thirteen pages of measurements if the teacher asks you where you got the information. Even the teacher caonnot argue with facts supplied by the GOV'T... Hope this helps you ...Try to stay focussed on the Question how many 8 ounce glasses of water does it take to make a gallon?...
