It is that time of year again... I have three huge pumpkins sitting in my kitchen. I am not into the carving so much (that is my husbands thing) I just like to bake the seeds. However, I want to try something different this year-- I don't want to throw the pumkin pulp away. So what can I do with it?

I hear people can cook with it...make pies and other such things. Do you all have any good receipes to share? Or even know a book/website where I can find such receipes?

Do you know any other uses for pumpkin pulp?

Thanks...
Best Wishes...
T.

My family and I were at a revolutionary war reenactment when we smelled the most wonderful food. We stopped the Scottish soldier and asked what it was - I believe he said Ham Boggis - My son really wanted to try it - Does anyone have the recipe?

I watched Diet Doctors on channel 5 a couple of weeks ago and they cooked some turkey burgers. The burgers looked nice but I can't remember the recipe and can't see it on their website. Does anyone know the recipe or have another easy recipe that I can use?

No matter how hard I try, I can not cook roast beef. I have had all sorts of cuts of beef and tried different methods of cooking but nothing works. I stick to Roast Lamb (which I love anyway) but for a change fancy a nice joint of beef. Has anyone got any tips for cooking the perfect Sunday Roast. (Has to be roasted, can't bear beef when it has been in one of those tins with a lid on top)

I asked this earlier didnt get but 2 answers. I'm looking for christmas recipes, or really any kind of unique recipes. I've been to many sights and have googled this. I have lots and lots of recipes, Im just looking for some new unique ones. I like to make up my own, but also find some and change them a bit, or just get ones I haven't seen that are really good and unique. Im not talking unique as in liver and cow eyeballs, just something you dont see everyday. Sorry so comlpicated, and thanks so much for the help. If you want to swap recipes just leave your email or something, I have a lot!

Does it mean I didn't add enough (or too much) flour, or water, or didn't bake it long enough?

Here are the ingredients I used:
2 cups of flour
1 tsp of yeast
1 tsp of sugar
1 cup of lukewarm water

I mixed it in a bowl and kneaded it for 5 mins. Then I let it stand and rise for 45 mins. Then I baked it at 375F for 30 mins. I was afraid to bake it longer because it looked like it's starting to burn. When I took i tout, it seemed to sort of collapse. The taste was pretty good, but the dough was too sticky for my liking.

So what went wrong?

As a muslim we cannot use Alcohol in our cooking. Many recipies I would like to try contain Alcohol, wine campari etc. What can I use instead? I know I could try not adding anything but I find that the foods really miss that 'Je ne se qua'.

I ground up all the grains and everything. Really delicious, but the 2 loaves just fell in the middle. What do you think?
