You cook the chicken too long, most people do. Chicken cooks super fast especially when it is cut up. Only brown it since you'll put it in the ziti.. that will cook it longer. YES, it sounds SOOOO good!! Are you putting any other cheese in there, too?

Ziti Chicken and Broccoli
Original recipe yield: 8 servings

PREP TIME 30 Min
COOK TIME 1 Hr
READY IN 1 Hr 30 Min

INGREDIENTS
1 pound dry ziti pasta
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 pint heavy cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can chicken broth
1 cube chicken bouillon
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons cornstarch
2 large heads broccoli, steamed
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts in water
6 breaded and fried skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, chopped
DIRECTIONS
In a large pot of salted boiling water, place pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until pasta is al dente. Drain.
In a large skillet, saute garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and bouillon. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Add cornstarch (adjust amount to thicken sauce to your liking). Simmer all together for about 20 minutes.
Once sauce is cooked and thickens, add broccoli and artichoke hearts, stir all together and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Once sauce is done, put cooked ziti pasta in a large bowl, pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat and mix. Then add the chicken pieces and mix all together. Serve. Delicious!

I would think no. Don't bread it that will make it more dry and increase the calorie intake - if you have enough time cook the chicken in a crockpot for 3-4 hours in chicken broth - then add it to the recipe.

yes.that does sound good. if you'd like a variation to keep the chicken tender slice the breast and saute' until almost done.put off to side.make the rest of your dinner then just before you serve put the chicken back in.the sauce and saute' until done.this will only take a few min.chix will be nice and tender.
Oh Yeah a nice Pinot Gris will do fine!!!!

If the chicken comes out dry that is because you are over cooking it. I bake my boneless chicken in the oven first then take it out and slice it and then add it to the dish. Also make sure you are adding enough liquid sauce to the dish.

The best way I have found to have moist flavorful chicken is to inject liquid seasons in it.You can buy a big needle for this at most grocery stores. Good luck

is it ziti with chicken? or two different dishes?
go with pasta putannesca for your ziti. top it with grilled chicken. blanche your broccoli, and use that makeshift carbonara sauce( previous answer) to top your broccoli.

It sounds good to me. What time should I get there? Shall I bring a bottle of wine, or desert?
