Very Special Spanish Omelet

Original recipe yield: 4 to 6 servings

READY IN 25 Min

INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoons butter
1 tablespoon diced green bell pepper
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 pinch ground cayenne pepper

8 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a skillet or frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add green pepper and onion; saute until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper. Simmer until sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.
While sauce is cooking, beat together eggs and milk. Heat a lightly oiled 6 inch skillet over medium heat. Cook four small omelets, one at time, in the skillet. Season each with salt and pepper and keep them warm while the others are cooked. Serve warm with sauce spooned over each omelet.

If you are talking about a Spanish omelet you are barking up the wrong tree. There is no sauce. A Spanish omelet is the same as a plain omelet except there are peppers, onions etc thrown in at he last minute for additional flavour and crunch.

1/4 c Green pepper, chopped
1/4 c Onion, chopped
2 T Butter or margarine
4 oz Can mushrooms, sliced or
- pieces, drained
16 oz Can tomatoes, chopped
2 t Sugar
1 T Cornstarch
1/2 t Salt
Dash cayenne

Saute the green pepper and onion in the butter in a heavy skillet
until they are tender but not brown. Stir in the remaining
ingredients and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until
slightly thickened. This sauce is good served over meat, vegetables
or pasta or for dipping. Makes about 2 cups.

I don't know if this is spanish sauce but it might be it's what use
when I'm tired of cheese sauce and that's seldom
1 teaspon coconut butter, 1& 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch or flour
water. Add HP or Worchestershire Sauce to taste mix till slightly thickened on low heat. You can wait till afterwards to add the HP sauce! You might like to add some chopped jalepeno & Celery to the above! I often do use jalepeno!

take a sautee pan and add 2 tbsp of olive oil or oil..add 1/4 cup of all these ingredients sauteeing themdiced onion& green pepper and 1/2 cup diced tomato 1 tbsp diced garlic now add 1 tbsp cilanitro 1 tsp orengo 1 tsp cumin a couple pinches cayenne pepper and a pinch or two of salt...cook until all ingredient a done and then add 2 pats of butter and incorparate...serve over omelet with cheese on top and place under broiler to brown cheese or use a torch to brown (it only takes a second...with the blow torch...

Are you reffering to AliOil?
if so its only a olive oil with sun dried tomatoes salt and pepper, sometime they will add a clove of garlic and basil but its made to the individual taste, usually at home but can be store bought. LF

Peppers, onions, smashed clove of garlic, mushrooms (if you like). Saute in a little olive oil. Add diced tomatoe, salt, pepper. Dash hot sauce if you like.
