I have a bag of mini marshmallows I was going to use for a Rick Krispy treat type of cookie. The bag says they expired a year ago. They are a little hard, but they taste ok to me. Are they rotten or do they just dry out?

rice cakes are not rice krispie treats nor anything asian. they are very light, airy, kind of like styrofoam. usually used for diet and baby food. any recipes would be appreciated as they are very expensive where i live. thank you.

I already have the carne asada, so I don't need a recipe for the marinade. All the recipes I have found are the same - grill the meat, slice in thinly and serve in tacos or fajitas. There's only so many tacos a person can eat - any ideas for various ways to serve it or other side dishes to go with it?

I know people will mix beef and pork for recipes like cabbage rolls, but I like the flavor of the beef just not the fat. I have used extra lean chicken and turkey and added beef boullion or oxo to enhance the flavor but it's not the same. Even using extra lean beef I still find there is so much fat....does any one have any tips or suggestions, or know if its safe to mix the beef and poulrty. Thanks so much for any help.

I've heard if you blanch green beans, then soak them overnight, they taste so much better and are softer. Anyone have any experience with it?
