what should i cook? i am thinking something that says welcome to the new house(they never seen it)
my father is in the military and my mom is {the base
doctor for the sick and hurt troops),i am more than
shocked to see them...for the 1st time in alomst 2 year!!!
i was thinking fried porkchops w/yellow rice,
french cut string beans,corn bread,
{my mom's favorite)and for the man of the house
( a nice stake,with baked potatoes, and a nice cold
beer lol does that sound good? and if not what
should i cook? they are leaving in a week =(

My boyfriend and I love to cook, and it's my turn next time, but I'm not sure what to make. We both love chicken, and cheese and pasta. But I don't want to make something like fettucini alfredo, that's too common for us to eat...any ideas??

The recipe calls for 1/2 cup butter. I only have 1/4c.

I have no apple sauce and no oil. Can i add an extra egg or egg white or something? It has 2 eggs originally.

I had a strong urge to get pop tarts today...haven't had one in years....saw them on sale at a convenience store and bought 6 for 99 cents...didn't eat them all lol....
What do pop tarts represent? Why would I crave them like that after not having had them for years?

Neiman - Marcus Dip

2 cups cheddar cheese
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup real mayo
1 bunch green onions

Chop the onions and combine all ingriedients. Serve with Wheat Thins.

I know its super bad for you but does it sond like a good appetizer?

1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder


I only have 1/4c of butter. I might have one tbs more than that.

Its a brownie recipe would it work? I always add extra vanilla to it.

Hey guys, I had a quick question. I have to leave for school in the morning really early, which rarely gives me time to eat good food.

Could I put together an omelet the night before, and then cook it in the skillet the next morning, or would it like rot?

I would like to get my sister a subscription to a cooking magazine for Christmas. She LOVES to cook and is very good at it - so the recipes don't have to be super easy or anything.
