I know it has a funny taste, but she won't even give it a chance. I ask her what her problem with Rye bread is, but she just twells me she 'doesn't like it'. I find that hilarious. And, my folks always force her to eat it... Do you like Rye bread?

How many shots of shooters (any kind) will it take to equal the amount of alcohol in one 12-ounce beer?

What food can you take to lessen the amount of alcohol you're liver has to process?

Penfold (thinks he's Paddington Bear) and I had marmalade.

We are also especially partial to having some marmite on it sometimes, not with the marmalade yuk! that would be horrible.

Sometimes I have a bit of imagination and make a cooked breakfast with cheesy scrambled eggs in it, how about that?

It was very simple I think: sliced fishcake in a (very) spicy red sauce.

Thanks!

which way around do you put the aluminum foil when you bake a chicken for example and why? Does the shiny side touch the food or the other side? Does it make a difference?

My buddy a bar owner did that. The next day he didn't want to drink anything... He had had enough the day before... Do you think it would be fun partying like that?

I've recently become vegetarian and i've been researching iron deficiencies and read that some people who have one start to eat things like dirt and ice all the time. Why is that?

Whenever someone finds out that I eat vegan, they seem to really be bothered by it and I find myself being told what a loser I am simply for having a different diet than someone else. I find that I get similar heat when someone finds out I'm an environmentalist. Does anyone else experience stuff like this?

Sometimes I can't tell what I get bothered about more: being a vegan or being a lesbian.

I like them in this order, MD, Pepsi, Coke. Dew has a good tatse too it. Pepsi and Coke leave a bad aftertaste and get flat quick. Coke taste bad out of the bottle after you open it for a few hours. Pepsi takes a while to taste bad after opening it from a bottle. But the cans are better. I can't really taste much of a difference between Coke and Pepsi, the only difference is Coke goes flat faster.

Though I wish Pepsi Blue was back, that just had taste from the heavens.

Does the smell indicate how healthy you are. I mean, if they stink really bad does it mean you have poor health. Lately, mine have smelled really bad, but I feel good. My b/f tried to tell me if you let smelly ones, it means there is something wrong with you on the inside. Has anyone ever heard of this? I have been eating a lot of broccoli lately.

I asked this question in the V&V section because I ate a vegetable.

I like popcorn with butter and parmesan but usually what I end up with is a bunch of parmesan at the bottom of the bowl! I've tried adding the cheese to the melted butter but it just doesn't stick! How do you get it to stay on the popcorn?

All the turkey gravy recipes I find call for making a roux out of flour and butter, then adding your stock/drippings. I have burned the roux before, or not cooked it long enough so the gravy tasted gritty. And there is the chance of lumps.

Thickening with cornstarch is easier and more fool proof, but will it taste as good?
