Penfold (thinks he's Paddington Bear) and I had marmalade.

We are also especially partial to having some marmite on it sometimes, not with the marmalade yuk! that would be horrible.

Sometimes I have a bit of imagination and make a cooked breakfast with cheesy scrambled eggs in it, how about that?

I had leftover pizza. One slice with eggplant, the other with onions and mushrooms. Burp. I am content.

I would love to have a medium rare steak with three eggs over easy, then add the toast with cranberry raspberry jam. Large orange juice.
Fruit bowl, with melon, strawberries, fresh pitted cherries, under 18% cream, and champagne.

A romantic made that breakfast for me many moons ago.

You can get everything but the champagne at the greasy spoon down the road. But the cook is not as cute!

I've had cheesy scrambled eggs before (they're best with cheddar). However, today I didn't have toast, instead I finished reading "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee with a cup of coffee; it's my favourite book now.

We had homemade grape jelly on homemade "white" whole wheat bread. (The flour is made from a special variety of lighter wheat -- nice! And the grapes were fully vine-ripened for maximum flavor and sweetness -- also nice!)

Cheesy scrambled eggs sounds wonderful -- but our chickens aren't laying right now and we haven't had time to make cheese in awhile.

I also love scrambled eggs, but this morning I had thyme and borage honey made in the Cévennes mountains (unspoilt, no pollution) by gentle bees.

normally I make buttermilk pancakes, butter (never margarine) with maple syrup for sunday breakfast (my recipe from scratch, very dense and creamy, yum) but today I have a 10k run so I'm having a banana and granola and some skim milk. Wish me luck.

I had an Oatmeal pumpkin waffle with pumpkin butter. Delish, but on toast? I like applebutter that I can in fall, or peach jam made from summer. MMM

It is still too early, 0525NZ but I will have an egg on toast, and a couple of slices of Vegemite on toast.
