Basically what I have in mind is making black-eyed peas with the hambone, in the crock pot, then I want to freeze it there, and a day or two before actually heating it, I can place it in the fridge to slowly thaw, then put it on low to heat up again at the time I plan on serving this.

In the beginning, where Linguini messes the soup up, but Ratatouille fixes it. It looks like a white creamy soup.

Does anyone know what it is called or if it really is a real soup?

:D It looks amazingly good.
Thanks!

If you were given a taste test, would you be able to tell the difference?

I would like to have a party for my daughters 2nd birthday. We just had a 4th birthday party for my son last month and spent about $500.00 so we are looking for something more inexpensive. We thought of going to a local place. Were looking into Boomers, Shakeys, or Bigs. But would like to know if theres a hidden jem out there??

Hey all,

It's my 16th birthday this December and i was thinking of having a winter wonderland themed party at home :)

My living room is empty because we've just had building work, so i could maybe paint the floor and walls white to fit in with the winter theme?

Any ideas on how else i can decorate the room?

Thankyou xxx

I just bought this yesterday for cooking not paying attention to the package. I haven't even opened it. Is it okay to use it when I have not used it for the fridge? It's the same as regular baking soda right? Thanks for answering!

I'm 15 and I LOVE TO COOK!! I have many of my own recipes already. Today, I just made a Michigan Chicken Salad from scratch. It includes:

-Chicken
-Mayonnaise/miracle whip
-celery
-relish
-red onion
-dried cherries
-walnuts
-lemon juice

I made this all just from scratch and basically just thought: this sounds good to put together, so I tried it and its marvelous! Would anyone else think that it would be good? If you would like to try it I can send the full recipe.

For thanksgiving we roast chicken (because some people don't like turkey, and everyone likes chicken). In the past I've "marinated" turkey in applejuice for 24 hours before roasting, and it came out great (more like put it in a bag or bowl full of applejuice). Has anyone tried this with chicken, or do you know if it will taste as good? And if I do this, what other types of things would taste good with the apple flavor? I obviously want to stuff the inside for the taste, and was thinking about several ingredients:
Onions (chopped)
Apples (chopped)
Rosemary (fresh)
Thyme (not fresh)
Cinnamon (maybe)
If you know of any that will work great or will be terrible, please let me know, or if you know of others that will be good with the applejuice bath, feel free to add that too.
