i have a recipe that i wanted to try for thanksgiving at my husbands grandmothers - the recipe calls for using 6oz. custard cups but it only makes 6 servings!! could i just forget the cups and bake it like a cobbler or something??

The recipes called Cinnamon Raisin Apple Indian Pudding

Yes, you could bake it in a casserole dish. Do not make it too thick or it may not cook evenly. Maybe a 9"x13" dish would be good.

Dont' forget the whisky sauce for it! ;-)

Yes, if it isn't based on milk and is actually a custard,....a custard needs the cups in water....borrow some cups from someone and double your recipe if that is the case.

I do it all the time if the reason for using custard cups is just to have individual portions...,,I don't like to mess with the little cups....You probably should double the recipe if you plan ot taking it for a larger dinner,,,,watch the timing carefully however, because you can no longer go by the time in your recipe...

The cups are for individual serving portion. Use a Pyrex baking dish.
