I like them, but it's getting old. I like Amaretto; is there a cocktail I can order that has that? What about others that are interesting and new?

I'm trying to make a sugar free pumpkin pie and you need to cook vanilla pudding with pumpkin. I only have the instant kind. What would happen if I cooked it? Can I just make the pudding then add the pumpkin or would the consistency be really odd?

I love my vegan lifestyle. It can get a bit annoying when family members think we are weird. I will always stand behind my decision and I try to set a good example. However, it's still annoying to have family disagree. What do you do to encourage family to be more open-minded? This subject comes to mind because the holidays exacerbate this situation.

I was wondering what I could do to spruce up my poor student food. I have about $3-4 every day for food. Typically I spend it on Ramen, cans of beans, potatoes, ravioli, etc.
The problem is, I am extremely sick of eating this almost every day.
What would you suggest I do to vary up my meals? But still stay on my tight budget of $3-4/ day. Any recipe ideas?
Is this question too hard because I can't think of anything...

Points for trying :-)

I'm going to a girls night out Holiday potluck and I need something good to make. I can bring an appetizer or a dessert. The girls seem to go for things that loook really nice and are usually high in calories, but hey it's a party. Any good suggestions?

I'm allergic to wheat and yeast and it seems I have two choices A) eat very boring and repetitive food or B) stay in the kitchen all day
I don't like either choice.
Does anyone have EASY wheat and yeast free recipes?

I asked earlier what would be a good dry white wine for roasting my turkey and I got alittle confused by the feedback so I'm wondering if I'm able to substitute chicken broth for the dry white wine??

I've been of drink 6 months and I am really proud of myself but no one else seems to be. I went to a wedding reception tonight at 7pm, I got tortured by everyone offering me drink, They dont know I had an alcohol problem and I dont want to tell them my business, so I had to turn them all down and they did think I was odd, And because I declinded them I was left sitting alnoe in the corner with my wife, I eventually had enough and told the wife I was going home, she started crying and fell out with me, Not one bit of support did I get from her, she just let me go home. She will start an argument when she gets home, but what do I do? I knew had I stayed I would of drank, there is so much pressure from society to drink alcohol,

Any advice appreciated, did I do the right thing? What should I say to my wife when she returns? I do feel very guilty for leaving her but shes with her parents and siblings
