Does the smell indicate how healthy you are. I mean, if they stink really bad does it mean you have poor health. Lately, mine have smelled really bad, but I feel good. My b/f tried to tell me if you let smelly ones, it means there is something wrong with you on the inside. Has anyone ever heard of this? I have been eating a lot of broccoli lately.

I asked this question in the V&V section because I ate a vegetable.

Mimkat, you must be sitting in the lobby of the hotel with nothing to do. I guess your last client didn't use up the full 30 minutes, aye?

traceili, rumor has it that you like to squat down as soon as you hear the mating call of the one eyed brown spider so you can savor the aroma.

Yes. Veggie-heads have a particularly "musty" smell about them even without the flatulence. I'm quite serious that has been my experience.

Assuming you're talking about wind from the lower end, what you eat does affect it. It can be an indicator of something wrong, such as a food allergy if certain foods go straight thru you for example, however if you've increased your vegetable intake chances are your body isn't used to it and is producing extra gasses as a result.

I have heard this from my Mother and Grandmother years ago. I do think their is some truth to it, but your eating a veggie hi in iron and B- Vits. so yes you will have gas, and smell is not the only way to tell, the color of your gums in your mouth is another way they use to tell if I was sick or faking it!

Actually it does. Not so much the gas as the general smell of a person. Excessive "pooting" does indicate something is out of balance. As a flexitarian vegetarian, I've never had that problem.

You are physically healthy, but I'm a bit concerned about your mental health, since you seem to be obsessing about the smells of your flatulence.

Well, as many vegans have asked and i have answered, "IT'S CAUSE YOUR ROTTEN ON THE INSIDE" and in your case, probably the outside too.
