1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

I only have 1/4c of butter. I might have one tbs more than that.

Its a brownie recipe would it work? I always add extra vanilla to it.

I would add some oil or applesauce to make up the difference. Otherwise, it could be dry or more like a cookie. Or maybe put in a third egg for the moisture.

I think so...
1/2 c butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 c flour
1/4 tsp bkg soda
1/3 c cocoa?
If you can up the cocoa and add veg oil it will work. I got this recipe from a cookbook but it calls for baking chocolate. On the back of cocoa, it usually tells you how to convert it to the equivalent of baking choc with oil. OK, now I have my cookbook and the cocoa..what a hoot..lol. "1 level Tablespoons of cocoa + 1 Tablespoon of shortning or oil = 1 oz of baking chocolate"

It would come out dry. Do you have vegetable oil? I never tried it but it should work.
