I need to know how so reconstitute 1/2 oz of dried Portobello mushrooms...does anyone know how? Emergency! :0)

Pour boiling water over them and wait about 20 minutes. It's the same trick as reconstituting sun-dried tomatoes.

place in hot water- it takes about 20-25 mins. Then, I always put them in a strainer and rinse well too. Sometimes the dried mushrooms have grit and it just ruins the dish.

Warm water for about 15-20 mins...or you can use wine for the extra flavor
