what should i cook? i am thinking something that says welcome to the new house(they never seen it)
my father is in the military and my mom is {the base
doctor for the sick and hurt troops),i am more than
shocked to see them...for the 1st time in alomst 2 year!!!
i was thinking fried porkchops w/yellow rice,
french cut string beans,corn bread,
{my mom's favorite)and for the man of the house
( a nice stake,with baked potatoes, and a nice cold
beer lol does that sound good? and if not what
should i cook? they are leaving in a week =(

i am 15 and i have only
seen my parents for 10 years..
.this is really special...we lost my older brother @ the base when it was raided...
so i am trying to make them feel loved!! thanks for all u guys help
and advice
the table is going to be a little empty without him so yeah..this will mean alot to us..thats for supporting our troops

that sounds perfect! doesnt sound like you need any help!! yummy! sounds like uve had a rough life with ur fam. i just hope u have a good thanksgiving! spend a much time with ur parents as u can!goodluck!

The menu sounds great. Maybe pick up a chocolate cake from your local bakery or grocery story for dessert and they should really enjoy it.

I think it's sort of weird you'd cook something different for your dad, but if you wanted to do something extra special for him. That sounds good. Incorporating favorites is important.

I think you've got the menu down pat. These are all things your parents love, right? What could be better than that? Toss in a green salad and a dessert and that'll be a great welcome home.
