I have to make a little snack for family night at school and the theme is something to do with pigs (not sure of all the details yet) but I have to make something using little smokies. I am tired of the same boring pig in the blanket and little smokies in BBQ sauce. Does anyone have any other recipes they would like to share? Thanks!

I'm doing a month-long detox program, that includes one week of a liquid-juice fast, as well as drinking fresh juices everyday for a month. I'm also trying to go as organic as possible, which means that for each glass of juice I make, I've got a cup or more of the left-over fibrous vegetable matter in the juicer...relatively expensive vegetable matter since it's all supposed to be organic! I've never been one to just throw out useful things, so I'm wondering if there is anything I can do with this stuff! I know I can use the applesauce to substitute in baking, but what about carrots, spinach, beets, oranges, tomatoes, etc? My mom suggested that I make soup, but it ends up acting like a thickening agent, and regardless, if I made it all into soup, I'd have a cupboard full of it!

We are currently without our kitchen and it's a challenge to come up with new and interesting, healthy dinners that my kids won't turn their noses up at (they're 6). When I get too creative, they end up eating cereal, which isn't awful, but, I'd like to do better, incorporating vegetables. Also, they don't like peanut butter. I do have a rice cooker, microwave, and toaster oven. Any suggestions?

As I work in an argentine restaurant in London(UK), was wondering what's the most popular spirit/cocktail in there.. I'm starting a whole new cocktails list and really need that info to make sure that Argentina isn't as far as it actually, and geographically, is!!! Thank's!

I'm looking for a roast recipe that includes vegetables that I can just put in the crock pot. When it's done, I want juice/gravy in the bottom of the crockpot. Does that happen naturally from the meat or should I put in beef broth or gravy??

In my house we tend to get a lot of moths and can not get rid of them since they mate so rapidly. After cooking a fresh vegetable soup with noodles I ate about 2 bowls and started putting the rest in the fridge as leftovers. Much to my suprise I never remember putting parsley leaves in the soup so I take a closer look and almost gagged. Hundreds of tiny dead moths, maggots, and larva lay in the thick soup. From now on I'm going to inspect all foods before I cook it!

I've seem to have accumulated a lot of spaghetti noodles and frozen vegetables in my kitchen. Anyone have a good recipe that I can make with the 2? I know the easiest would be to just add spaghetti sauce, but I'm looking for something different. Maybe use a different kind of sauce or add some spices? The frozen vegetables I have are corn, green beans, sliced zucchini, sliced yellow squash, and lima beans. Any suggestions?
