I have to make a little snack for family night at school and the theme is something to do with pigs (not sure of all the details yet) but I have to make something using little smokies. I am tired of the same boring pig in the blanket and little smokies in BBQ sauce. Does anyone have any other recipes they would like to share? Thanks!

Hi !!!
How about these:

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

"Time consuming but it is well worth it! The brown sugar and bacon grease combine beautifully and give such a great taste."

Original recipe yield:
16 servings

PREP TIME 45 Min
COOK TIME 45 Min
READY IN 1 Hr 30 Min

INGREDIENTS
1 pound sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 ounce) package beef cocktail wieners
3/4 cup brown sugar, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon until needed. It is easier to wrap the wieners with cold bacon. Wrap each cocktail wiener with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all.
Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sugar is bubbly. To serve, place the wieners in a slow cooker and keep on the low setting.

Easy Bacon Wrap-Ups

1 pound Hormel Lil Smokies
1 pound uncooked bacon
Barbecue sauce
Brown sugar
Honey
Wooden picks

Cut bacon strips to about 4 inches long. Wrap each Lil Smokie with bacon, secure with wooden pick.

Mix BBQ sauce (about 1 cup) with 1/2 cup brown sugar. Place wrapped Smokies into 9 x 13-inch pan, drizzle with BBQ sauce mixture, then honey. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes or until bacon is slightly crispy. DO NOT OVER-BAKE, as BBQ sauce will quickly darken.

Hormel Little Smokies

I know this is with BBQ but this recipe is great. Soak the little smokies in a can of beer for a few hours to overnight, then cook in a crock pot with Bull's Eye barbecue sauce. Everyone loves them, and the alcohol cooks off, but gives the little smokies a unique flavor.

I don't have the recipe but I have had them cooked in a crockpot before with BBQ sauce and they are quite tasty. This site has some information on slow cookers and maybe you can find one there. Have fun.

I'm gonna make a suggestion that sounds kinda gross but the end result is SOOOOO good: put them in a crock pot with mustard and grape jelly and let them cook for a while...it's Really good.
