i have a simple yet surprisingly elegant tasting recipie for pork loin....season it with garlic powder, salt and pepper and then give it a light coating of grey poupon and cover it with foil and either cook it outside on a charcoal grill or in the oven on 350 for at least one hour and remember when its done let it rest before carving.....also adding a touch of fresh tarragon or rosemary would be nice as well...enjoy

Pork Loin Normandy - Crowd Pleaser

Rub Pork Loin with a blend of herbs (rosemary, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, etc.). Cook to an internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sauce: Peel Washinton apples and cut into sections. In a saute pan, melt butter and mix in brown sugar. Add apples and saute until tender, but still solid. Add apple flavored brandy for extra flavor and continue to cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

Slice pork loin and shingle on a serving platter. Pour sauce over loin and enjoy!

Oh, are you ever in for a treat! You want to bake or roast your loin. Rinse it well and then place it on a rack in a roasting pan. Top it with half a cup of apple butter (not apple sauce) and roast it in the oven for an hour at 325 degrees. At the end of the hour, spread an added whole cup of apple butter on top and finish it in the oven at the same temperature. Depending on the size of the loin, that may take as little as another quarter of an hour or it may take up to an hour. You want to cook it to an internal temperature of 155 degrees (buy and use a meat thermometer; they're very cheap)

When done, carefully remove the meat, reserving the apple butter. Slice the meat and serve with a tablespoonful of the warm apple butter on top or on the side. YUM, YUM!! Garlic mashed potatoes or Spanish rice, a green vegetable and iced tea to drink. Sweet potato pie for dessert. Heaven!!! - or as close to heaven as this Old Mick's ever gonna get, lol...

Mmm... I made an awesome pork loin the other day.

Season it with salt, pepper, and garlic, then sear it on all sides briefly in a hot skillet.

Put it in a 13x9 pan.

Cover it with Kikkoman's teriyaki sauce, and sliced fresh pineapple from the deli, then pour the pineapple juice in.

Cook it at 375 until the internal temperature is 160 (About an hour and a half).

YUM- I served this with fried rice with broccoli. :)

Marinade over night in 1/4 Cup mustard (Dijon not yellow) and 2 Tbsp. honey and some Mrs. dash. then roast it in the oven until cooked. Starte the oven at 400 and when you put the loin in lower it to 350. If you have a meat themomoeter it should read 150. If not you need to cook it until there is no pink. Yum!! Serve with mashed potatos and green beans.

make a hole through the meat (like a tunnel) push a sausage in it - smoked polish or something - and put into the oven (with 1,5 cups water or chicken broth) for 1-1,5 hour. Seasoned pork loin is the best. If you have plain, use salt pepper, garlic salt. Cover it with aluminum foil, but take the cover off in the last 15 minutes.

My favorite and so easy is sweet and sour pork. Simply put the entire loin in your slow cooker or crock pot, add a jar of sweet and sour sauce, a can of pinnaple- chunked, sliced or crushed whichever you like and put the juice in too, a dash of salt a dash of pepper, and a small onion cut into chunks. Let it cook on medium or low for at least 8 hours. It will fall apart in your mouth- delicious!!!

put lots of seasoning on it such as garlic, salt , pepper, onion salt, and tonys. put it on very liberally. smoke the tenderloin on the grill for about 2 hours at 200 to 250 degrees. spray it with apple juice every 15 to 20 minutes during cooking. it will fall apart in your mouth.
