The girls in our local vegetarian society are all taken by omnivores. Oh and they whine about their boyfriends' eating habits. Geez, either you select a vegetarian boyfriend or you don't whine.

I have to make deviled eggs every Christmas, everyone raves about my recipe. I have to make about 100, which means I have to peel 50 eggs. Sometimes the shell comes off super easy, other times it sticks and pull. Is there any iron-clad way of making sure the eggshell comes off with ease everytime?

Vodka, by defination is; ordorless, colorless and tastless, so why does cheep vodka tastes so bad? I have a home water distiller that could be easily used for re-distilling vodka to remove the nasty tasting impurities. Is there any danger in re-distilling vodka? specifically "methanol poisioning"?

A buddy of mine, whose birthday is approaching, is a collector of curios and oddities and has just about everything.
During a search for odd and unusual gift, I stumbled upon the strange drink Absinthe, containing the wormwood extract Thujone (sp?). I vaguely recall him talking about it years ago, tying it to Vincent Van Gogh’s ear-as-a-gift event, and mentioning it was illegal in the US.
Like him, I’ve always believed this to be illegal to own here in the US, but it seems I was mistaken and there is no such law. I believe there might exist laws against distillation or manufacture, but not against purchasing, owning or drinking Absinthe.

Would anyone see a problem giving this drink as a token of appreciation, especially if it were intended as a trophy oddity and conversation piece more than something likely to be consumed?

I bought some stevia becuase I have been told its all natural and doesnt have side effects.It doesnt taste as good as equal but is suppose to be better for you .Has anyone here every had any side effects from it or what is your opinon of it?
