90% of the sugar to alcohol conversion is done in the first few days. The remaining portion is done over the remainder of the long period of time...but it's over this time that other flavors are developed, matured, and that the yeast and solids settle to the bottom, naturally clarifying the wine.

The last go I made of white wine it took around 2 weeks for fermantation to stop. Depends on the type of yeast also.

Be serious, What are you trying to make? Wine? maybe a home grog? If your in a hurry go to the corner 7-11.

for black grapes, it will take a month. i have made it myself when i was in africa. tastes sooo good.
