That is one thing I really do miss this time of year. I can get it here but have to pay a lot and order it a ling time in advance.

Nice cold apple cider but not just apple juice. There is a difference. I do not mean hard cider either. Not the alcohol kind.

Real cider has a tang to it and is not too sweet. very refreshing.

Hi. Just my luck my grandma has me doing the turkey this year. And because we couldn’t find a big enough one, we're doing two 13 lb turkeys. I have to start cooking in about 2 hrs. So what should I do? The turkey isn't fully defrosted yet! The instructions direct the open pan method. I don't want to do that because I'm afraid it'll be too dry. So I need detailed instructions please- cooking tem. C, time, etc... I don't have a meet thermometer, so pleased don't suggest using one.

I also have to stuff it, but I usually just mix up something from onions, apples, walnuts, bread and spices... This time I want a real stuffing.

Also, I usually use a medical needle, and put whiskey into the fleshy parts? Is this necessary?

Thanks...

I was reading in medical journal and it said a deoxyuridine suppression test showed B12 deficiency in a clinical study on vegans. I was shocked to say the least when I read this article. I wish there was a way I could scan and upload it to the internet to show you.

Here is an exact quote from the medical journal, "The most common cause of vitamin B12 deficiency is a vegan diet. A diet lacking in B12 causes tachycardia and heart murmurs."

I don't know about you, but this vegan diet sure seems kind of risky to me.

I don't know if it's a "holiday" drink, but it sure warms you up in the winter:
Cafe Nelson
-Hot coffee
-2 shots of Baileys
-1 shot of Frangelico (hazelnut liquor)
-whipped cream on top

I am attempting to cook the bird with indirect heat by placing the coals and firewood on the opposit side while the heat and smoke cooks it on the other side of the grill. Will it work and for how long do I have to cook it?
