As its informal there is no correct etiquette. What I will say as Myself being teetotal is to take a bottle of elder flower cordial and mix that and serve it in a wine glass. Slore is also a good drink to take, none alcoholic and looks like wine. Also I've found its the drinkers who struggle with how to treat a teetotaller. In simple truth we are the same as you, we like to drink out of nice glasses, and observe any etiquette if there is any. Its only the ingredient of booze that's missing so just serve them a drink in the same way you would a person who does consume booze. Hope this helps?

A nice bottle of Red Wine. The host can decide to open it it or save it for a different event. A bottle of wine is like bring a houseplant to a housewarming party. Its a safe gift.

i think of the etiquette is very open. this is the host's place to serve what he or she desires and to regulate the bypass of the evening (actually and metaphorically). despite if there are not themes of pairing wine to foodstuff, the host could have an theory in his or her head with regard to the wines which would be served. And once you convey a bottle of wine, this is traditionally a present to the host, no longer an accompaniment for the evening. ethical of paragraph: you at the instant are not being ill-taken care of. despite the fact that, this is clean to me that for the period of a few social circles, human beings view the alcohol introduced as something to be inebriated that evening, somewhat at events. there is unquestionably no longer something incorrect with a variety of serving introduced bottles.....yet there is the prospect that certainly one of your travelers buys an rather positive bottle for YOU, and then watches regrettably as your unappreciative pals drink it mixed with cassis or something, or that travelers convey distinctive characteristics of wine and sense in comparison (somebody could sense undesirable). in my view, I very just about by no skill serve wine this is introduced, till I asked that somebody convey something in specific, or till this is champagne or rose meant on hand in the previous the meal that evening and this is already chilled for that purpose.

Take whatever drink for yourself and dont worry about the host. She/He has probably already got that sorted. U could perhaps take a homemade cocktail or punch with just the fruit.

I'd bring one alcoholic (a red or white- maybe a Merlot?) and one bottle of soda for the tea-totaller!
That way they can feel extra special!
Best Christmas wishes and a safe holiday time to you and your loved ones!
