Well.. there is the Candy Cane..
1 oz. peppermint schnapps
or 2 ozs...its a party.
Hot Chocolate with whipped cream.
Its easy and cheap. As a garnish on the whipped cream.. try crunching up some candy canes and put it on top of the whipped cream. then stick one of thosewhole canes in the whipped cream(there is you stir stick). If you have some choc. syrup..drizzle that on top. No booze, its fun for kids well.

I love this one, and I'm serving it tomorrow for Christmas:

Pomegranate Martini:
1/3 cup citrus vodka
1/3 cup pomegranate juice
2 tablespoons orange liqueur (I use triple sec)
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with lemon slice and float pomegranate seeds if you like.

It is so good, and a beautiful looking drink, too. Very festive!

Sounds like a really good recipe... and one that will also do a good job of getting you slobbered - so even better!

For me - it was traditional to start out with eggnog and a shot of brandy. And as it was gradually consumed, add brandy to fill the glass - until it was pretty much just brandy, and I was pretty much not listening to people fight...
