im makin a fruit salad tomorrow and ive got a can of blueberries.. should i use them in the fresh fruit salad?

By all means. Just be sure to rinse them well or you'll end up with a blue fruit salad.

Yuck.. canned fruit is for pies.They might be out of season. Try to find another colorful fruit at the store. Nothing is written in stone for color in a fruit salad. If it comes down to it, use Kiwi. Its exotic and fun. This is a hard season for fun fruit.

Sure, I mix fresh and canned sometimes. Actually canned and frozen fruits and vegetables can be of better quality than fresh if the fresh is out of season. This is because frozen and canned are packed when the product is at its peak.

In sauce pan, med/low heat, pour blueberries, add 1/2 cup sugar, and stir until sugar is melted and intragrated with blueberries. Add about 1 teaspn of lemon juice. stir. then pour into pie crust. Good luck.

Not if you want it to taste good...don't mix fresh and canned.

NO! They are too syrupy. Use fresh ones only.

Its OK just drain them well, they'll add some colour as well as flavour.
