What are dandycakes with peppermint cream?

In the movie 'A Knight's Tale' Watt dreamed about dandycakes with peppermint cream. Tried to find on internet and didn't come up with much. Can anyone help?!

I think there are plenty of recipes for dandycakes on the internet. The peppermint cream needs its own recipe. (Look for the exact phrases, not just the words). I am afraid I cannot help you with the name of the cakes, though (I mean, why they are called so).
