for 7 days to be precise. Cannot get anyone one out to fix it. Loads of baking to do and how on earth am I going to cook the turkey. Only oven kupput not the rest. Ideas woud be appreciated.

No near neighbour to let me use their oven;
No family near by;

I suppose I could cut the turkey up an pot roast it...that's a thought.

I don't know what these are called, but they have peanuts rice krispies, marshmallows, and are covered in white chocolate. Any idea of what I am talking about? I want to make these for Christmas, they are soooo good!

I'm making a dark chocolate cake. It calls for unsweetend chocolate to be melted with butter and semi sweet chocolate. Can I substitute cocoa powder for the unsweetend chocolate part?

I mean, why would you want to drink something that you have to add that much milk, sugar and flavoring to in order to make it taste good. Seems to me that one might want to choose something that tastes good in the first place.
Is it the caffeine? (Why not have a delicious Coke or your other preferred caffeinated soft drink)
Is it just fashionable?
Has everyone been brainwashed by Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts?

(I know there are many people out there who do actually drink plain black coffee, but i'm talking about all the double choco, mocha, almond, marshmallow... ultra grande latte guzzlers out there)

What is one thing that you have never tried, or thought of trying, but you saw it on tv, or heard someone else describe it, and now you want to try it?

Me, personally, I want to try that poison fish they sell in sushi stores, that you have a chance of it killing you if not prepared correctly.
Bugs, crickets, maybe as well.

What meal should I make for Christmas dinner. I am actually cooking a holiday meal this year (not like Thanksgiving) and do not want the traditional turkey or ham. Can any of you suggest a good meal with appetizers and all? This means appetizers, side dishes, the main course, and a dessert.

I need real suggestions please! Thanks!

I am trying to make Chow Mein noodle cookies for Christmas and I mixed one pkg of betterscotch morsels with chocolate morsels in a saucepan over low heat and it won't melt. Why and what do I need to do to fix this?
