I have seen many divinity and fudge recipes online and in the newspapers but what I would like to know is: Can anyone give me their TNT recipes, i.e., those that have gone through a few generations, ideally the easier to make the better...lol. Merry Christmas!

A vegan told me that eating meat makes me a murderer and that I am responsible for death, pain and cruelty.

I work hard to provide for my family and there is always some meat on the table. To me, a meal is not complete with a meat entree. I want my family to be healthy and get the necessary nutrients that their bodies need.

What that vegan said to me is really bothering me. I consider myself to be a good person, but this vegan insists that I am a murderer. How should I respond this vegan?

All the TV chefs and best restaurants insist that meat should be pink in the inside. I have eaten at some restaurants and have blood spew across the plate when I try to cut into my meat. I think its disgusting and I do not eat meat which is pink in the inside. Meat should be BROWN throughout!! For that reason I rarely eat red meat at restaurants (i find white meat and fish tend to be cooked more throughly)

I know I am one of a dying breed of people who feel this way.

ANyone out there understand where I am coming from? FOr those who prefer their meat pink, what is the appeal?

I was watching a cooking programme the other day and they said that you can defrost your turkey 5 days before as long as it is in the fridge. I went out and bought our turkey and put it in the fridge. By Christmas day it would have been in the fridge for 5 days, it is still in it's packaging. I have been emptying the tray that the meat is in regularly and it does feel as if it is thawed, having been in there for two days now. My question is, will it be safe to cook this turkey or have I been too keen? The turkey weighs 4.5kg

I lined my baking dish with wax paper and poured in the caramel and let it cool. When I went to peel off the paper from the caramel, it stuck. Now What? I think I might have just ruined about 4 pounds of homemade caramel? Is there anything I can do to get the wax paper off?

We are living in Spain (Galicia) and we have friends over for Christmas. As the weather is good we have decided to have an alternative christmas lunch on the beach. Any good (and easy!) recipe ideas for our lunch?

Unlike the majority of people in the U.S., I like stout beers like Guinness and Murphy's. However, I've noticed that the price of these beers is always much higher than your regular ale or lager. Is this due to the fact that stouts are less popular in the states or is it more complicated or time consuming to brew? I'm sure the "imported" stouts probably cost more because they are imported.

Also, any recommendation for delicious stout brand is appreciated.

I like to think I am pretty open on what I will eat, but, the other day I was watching the grossest foods out there, and I had to change the channel.
The one that freaked me out was the cheese that has the maggots in it.
I won't go into detail, because I can feel my bile rising, but, yeah.
Oh, and blood, anything with blood is just gross.

What will you absolutely refuse to try?
