I like to think I am pretty open on what I will eat, but, the other day I was watching the grossest foods out there, and I had to change the channel.
The one that freaked me out was the cheese that has the maggots in it.
I won't go into detail, because I can feel my bile rising, but, yeah.
Oh, and blood, anything with blood is just gross.

What will you absolutely refuse to try?

i'm answering this because i'm completely against the grain you're promoting.

I will try absolutely anything. so long as it's not obviously poison, or i'm not allergic.

I will have the lot. it's not that i don't care, in fact it is that i DO.

I want new tastes, sensations and experiences. the most disgusting things in our past might turn out to be delicacies in the future.

e.g. every culture has a recipe for cooking something that's gone off e.g. africans use gone off milk to cook vegetable: it tasted delicious, asians have lassi etc, etc.

The first person to have tried to eat ...(anything) must have been thought of as strange. there must have been someone out there who was the first to eat chicken. he probably tried it raw (alive?) and with feathers before they worked out how to remove the feathers and roast or boil.

Cow feet and chicken feet are also a delicacy in nigeria...

Spices come from tree bark and parts of flowers and seeds who was first to try that out?

As our population increases you'll find that our diets will grow to include many different things, as it has with the chineese. some chineese people will eat old people i hear. certainly there are tribes in africa that have done it, and i believe that canibalism is also legal in France (Though of course murder isn't.)

i refuse to be too proud or shy to try anything.

My mum says food will kill me, so it's not necessarily a good thing.

I was watching travel channel and they went to Alaska wear they go out kill the seal and then eat it raw, they love the eye.....gross!!!!!!! Sorry, to answer your question I would have to say that I would never eat VEAL....I couldn't enjoy eating something that I knew suffered all it's life. If I could be a vegetarian I would be. Well, I've had a few things that other people would refuse to try but I liked quite well.....frog legs and alligator meat are delicious. Then, I've had some things that I tried and weren't so good....snails being one.

But, one thing I would never try are Squirrel brains....that is disgusting. My papaw loved them and had my aunt eating them when she was little...she didn't know what they were though.

That Asian delicacie of live monkey brains (where they have a table with a hole in it and put the monkey in there and then cut it's skull open while still alive and eat the brains raw).
