Amaro is a bitter Sicilian liqueur made from herbs which is nice as an alternative to coffee after a meal; but where to buy it?

i have just moved in to my first place with my boyfriend about 300 miles away from my family. we are bearlly coping money wise at the mo. we cant afford to get each other gifts but i would really like to get my brothers and sisters something as they have really helped me out while i have been feeling home sich (ringing me and chatting and writting letters). i would love to get them something nice. but it would have to be cheap or maybe something i could make for them. any ideas would really help. i had been thinking of cookies or ginger bread men. or little chocolate sweets, thanks

I am a very picky eater. When I go to certain people's homes for dinner, there is always someone who insists of dishing out the food. I prefer to take my own servings of what I like and how much I want to take. Some people just start shovelling something from each dish onto my plate and I politely say "no thank you" and then they say "why not?" I say "I don't like this or that" and then they say "try some anyway." After they have piled up stuff on my plate that I don't eat, I just leave the food there (what a waste). Then someone always asks "why didn't you eat such-and-such" and I say "because I don't like it." I started to tell one person I'm allergic to certain foods and they totally ignored me and put some of it on my plate anyway. Why can't people listen?

It's been so long since I bought anything in this price range, and I almost gave up on california cab's in general... more of a brunello guy lately, but I am tired of opening all my big time bottles when I have a crowd over (holiday season) and they don't appreciate the really good stuff... don't bother recommending Yellow-Tail cailber plonk, thanks

Now that we are allowed to drink red wine, does anyone have experience to share regarding your own observations about
