does anyone know the ingredients and how to make a mint choc chip frappuccino like the ones in starbucks??? Ive tryed using mint essence, milk, ice and chocolate bits but it tasted horrible, any suggestions????

Hi !!!
Here are a few choices for you to enjoy:

Mint Mocha Recipe

Serves/Makes: 4

Ingredients:
8 ounces cold coffee
2 ounces creme de menthe
1 pint chocolate ice cream
Very thin chocolate mint wafers

Directions:

Combine coffee, ice cream, and creme de menthe in blender. Blend on low speed. Spoon into sherbet or wine glasses, and garnish each serving with a chocolate mint wafer.

--------AND...

Mint Mocha ‘Frappuccino’

1 cup double-strength dark roast coffee
1 cup soy milk
2-4 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
2-3 drops mint extract
Sugar, to taste
Ice cubes

• Combine all the ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving

Note: For a regular mocha, omit the mint. To make a banana version, add a banana instead of the mint and serve with crumbled graham crackers on top.

Starbuck'S Mocha Frapp

Yield: 1 Serving

Ingredients

18 ea ice cubes (up to 22)
7 oz coffee, chilled; double
-strength
1/4 c chocolate sauce (or syrup)
2 tb vanilla syrup
2-3 drops of mint extract OR (1-2 "York" Peppermints)
1 whipped cream

Instructions

Place ice, coffee, chocolate sauce, mint extract or "York" mints and vanilla syrup in a blender. Blend until
smooth. Pour into a large, tall (chilled) glass. Garnish with dollop of
whipped cream or scoop of your favorite ice cream. Makes one 16 oz
frapp,.

you will probably never be able to reproduce it exactly unless you are able to acquire the cappuccino base.

I have seen people selling the base on eBay, most likely it is being soled by barristas who stole it from their store.

The closest thing would probably be to either buy coffee/espresso ice cream.
Buy some kinda super super sweet chocolate chips.
And you might be able to find the mint chocolate syrup at some stores, you can buy it very cheaply from the IF they still have it.
If not maybe the Torrani brand makes a mint chocolate flavor. (note that mint choc. flavor is not the same as the peppermint)

im not sure but just get some mint chocolate chip ice cream, add some mikk and drink it.
