We're planning to have a noon wedding with a nice lunch buffet. What alcoholic drinks (if any) would people expect? Just champagne for a toast and possibly a couple of glasses of wine with lunch? certainly no one would expect a full bar at 1:00 in the afternoon, right?

I just had a cute idea(at least i think it's cute). Instead of a guest book, i'm having my guests sign a photo mat. In the center of the mat, i can fit an 8x10 photo. I was obviously going to put a picture of my fiance and i in that but i wanted a little caption at the bottom that read something like this....

I want to definantly keep the first and the last caption, but i can't think of anything else to go in the middle. Is diamond ring ok? What do you all think??? What would you put in the middle? Thanks bunches!!

My sister is going to be the Maid of Honor in my wedding and Im trying to find a good dress for her to wear. My sister cup size is a Double D and shes curvy, shes what you call big fine and she wants to wear a strapless dress, Im just trying to find out what kind of strapless dress or any kind of dress that will look good on her and keep her bobbies secure.I dont have a problem with her wearing a strapless dress. Does just the man buy an engagement ring for when he proposes or does the woman buy one too for the man upon being propsed to?
Or how about the actual wedding ring?
Is it just the plain gold or platinum bands?
what costs more & whats the difference?
What kind of ring is supposed to be an engagement ring?
and how does the guy buy it if he doesnt know the size?

We sent out wedding invitations and have received a RSVP. The invitations were made out to only Mr. and Mrs. It is a 6pm evening ceremony with a reception that goes until 10pm. We an open bar. They are charging over $30/person. We decided to not invite children, except nephew, and the wedding party children. How do we tell my fiance's co-worker that he can't bring his 3 young children? There is no reason why they should have thought the entire family was invited.

I'm having a winter wedding, in the evening. I'm really trying to pull off a lovely wedding on a budget. Flowers are expensive, and so I was thinking we could dim the lighting in the church sitting area (the front would be lit up for the guests to see us well) and have them walk with candles (big ones, so they won't drip on their dresses) and then they can set them down in the front of the church when they get up there as added decoration. What do you think? Good or no? Also, my fiance's family is pretty judgemental, and they are all in the wedding, so I'm not sure if they will go for the idea or not. Also, maybe we could decorate the candles with fake flowers with a hot glue gun or something (ideas for that would be great too.) Thanks!

I have been searching for my perfect wedding dress and I found the one that I want...unfortunately, it is about 2500 dollars more than I can afford. Im getting married in May and im trying to tie in my colors with what everybody will wear. My colors are Champagne, Cream, and Chocolate but Im thinking that I should add a color like pink for flowers.My wedding dress is going to be Champagne or Ivory and Champagne. I want to put my bridemaids in Chocolate but I think it might be too dark so I was also thinking about Latte.I dont know what color tux the Groom or the Groomsmen should where. Or should I put in another color besides pink, I need any ideas. I need all of the help that I can get.
