I just tried on this dress yesterday and it looked great on me. I'd love to hear some honest opinions on what everyone thinks of this dress.

It is dress number 128, second row, second dress.

Thanks!

If you have the figure for it, it is absolutely beautiful.

Get to the gym and work keep a good tone in your shoulders and arms. But be careful which muscles you work on -- you don't want to look like a man. Just good definition in biceps, triceps, back shoulder. And of course, abs & glutes.

A nice smooth tan. Not too much! Real or fake. But fake WILL stain that dress.

And, PULLEEASE, don't get a bouquet that's so large it looks like a shrub. It will look like the bride is hiding behind it..
"More is better." is NOT always true. Simple elegance. Elegant simplicity. That's taste -- that's class.

And, if you chose THAT dress, apparently you have both!

If you have the body for it and don't mind that the way the lacing ends so far down that it will really call attention to your derriere, then go for it. I only mention it because many women are a little 'sensitive' about that body part being in focus. The dress is absolutely gorgeous, and if you love it on then I think you found 'The gown'!

As the only (so far) male who has deigned to reply, there are those who might argue that as the suit makes the man, so should the dress make the woman. However, even Princess Diana didn't look so good in that awful, chosen-for-her, taffeta gown!

This is YOUR day coming up! You need to choose what makes you comfortable, and how YOU think it makes you look, and not rely on how others think (remember, even the best of friends can turn on you, especially if you pick some horrible bridesmaid outfit for them to wear!). ;)

Hi...actually, I don't think the photo does the dress justice. It looks like there is a lot of padding in the bodice creating like a hard capsule around the bosom. I like the dress to the left of it, however, if your chosen dress looks fabulous on you, then that's all that really matters. Its hard to find a dress that you absolutely love but, when you do, its a treasure! Go for it! I wish you the best!

Please don't hate me for being honest...

I *personally* am not a fan. I think that kind of fabric and heavy bodice (who wants moulded cups?) can make even the slimmest bride look chunky. If it makes even the model look chunky in the picture, that gives you a clue. BUT that said, if it looks good on you, of course go with it. I would snap a picture of you wearing it if possible, to see how you photograph in it.

Note that I'm not implying you're fat. I'm a size 5/6 and I wouldn't even wear that dress. If you've got curves and are thin, a mermaid style with lighter material is best (this is what my dress is). All that extra fabric with this dress weighs you down.

If you are set on this dress, and it is worth the price (i.e. you can get a deal), then by all means wear it and feel beautiful.

But I honestly have to say that it is not a dress that I love.

P.S. Please note, I am not trying to be offensive, but this is what I honestly think. For some reason, brides seem to think that they have to choose certain "bridal" fabrics and styles, instead of finding a dress that is truly right for them.!

I like dress number 125 and 142 better. Those two dresses are so stylish, but it all depends on the type of look you are trying to achieve. Plus your body shape is another factor.

It's very pretty. I wouldn't do the feathers in the hair but the dress is gorgeous. You'll know if the dress is for you. If you are not sure keep looking and you will know when you find "the one"

It's nice. I've been to a lot of weddings in the last few years and every bride has worn a similar white, strapless dress. None of them were memorable. As long as you don't mind looking the same as every other bride then go for it. It is a nice dress.

Wow, I think the dress really looks great. It's beautiful and fit for a wedding, and at the same time, the dress is not too poofy at the bottom. :)

I think if you like it and it looks great on you, then you don't need us to approve it for you. Did it make you feel fantastic and bridal? Then get it, with my full blessings if you really feel you need them. Was it nice but not 'the one?' Then keep looking.

When you find the perfect gown, you'll know it and you won't need our opinions.
