My sister is going to be the Maid of Honor in my wedding and Im trying to find a good dress for her to wear. My sister cup size is a Double D and shes curvy, shes what you call big fine and she wants to wear a strapless dress, Im just trying to find out what kind of strapless dress or any kind of dress that will look good on her and keep her bobbies secure.I dont have a problem with her wearing a strapless dress. I need some good ideas.

I wore this dress in a friends wedding. it looked awsome on everyone! It looks much better in person thanin the picture. I am curvy and the ruching in the waist really does have a slimming affect. I saw several other bridal parties trying on the same dress while we were in the sstore and everone who came out in them looked great!. Also, the fron t and back come up high enough, that your sis could wear a bra if she needed to.
The dresses were beautiful.. I have been in about 7 weddings and this is the only one that peopel repeatedly came up and told us how gorgeous everyone looked. Our dresses were black (looked great with red roses) but the red is really pretty too. they were the only colors davi's had in stock to try, they come in a rainbow of colors though.
Also, if you are planning black for the dresses... i, as well as a couple of the other bridesmaids have our likenew dresses to sell... just an idea.

It's your wedding. Put your foot down and tell her a strapless is not a good idea. A strapless dress on a woman of that size will look awful and her chest will sag. She needs support. A dress that lifts and holds is best. You don't want her to distract from you because she looks trashy.

Why not select a color, then let sister worry with finding the dress?
Bridesmaids no longer have to wear identical dresses. Since she is MOH, you may want her dress to be a bit different anyway. So give her the color, and ask her to go find the dress herself. I'm sure you can trust your sister to find something flattering that will fit her budget. Then you can move on to other wedding tasks.

a strapless dress is probably too dangerous
if you find a strapless dress that is straight across the front then you could ask them to add straps of any size for about $12
whatever the dress...make sure it is not a v neck or scoop...straight across will look better

go to a davids bridal store and have her try some on. my friend got married and the bridesmaids were all different shapes and they had these gorgeous strapless dresses and they all looked really nice in them.

As long as the dress is boned, it should give good support. Go to a proper wedding shop for advice and expert fitting.

Bridle shops have bigger sizes. I am a DD and I was just in my brothers wedding. Do to Davidsbridle.com. We all got dresses that are very Nice and I only paid 130.00

these last 2 dress makers will make the dresses from scrath to her measurements... any length and you can request them to change the fabric matterial if you like. they have tons of colors of matterial... just contact them for the colors and they will also send you samples for a few bucks.
